Coffee Ethiopia - Anfilo Washed

Traditionally Yirgacheffe grows at an altitude between 1.700-2.000m and is considered the best high grown coffee in southern Ethiopia, an exotic coffee region known for fine coffees. In these elevations’ coffee grow slowly due to the altitude, allowing additional time for the tree to develop the best flavors.

A fine Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee shows a bright acidity along with intense, fresh tastes and a complexity of floral notes in the aroma, sometimes with a hint of toasted coconut. While some premium Yirgacheffes can have a slightly nutty or chocolate note, others presents subtle tones of tangerine and citrus. These qualities make it a preferred varietal for a refreshing iced coffee. It is also an ideal coffee for the evening, as Ethiopian highland coffees naturally have low amounts of caffeine.
